Miami Needs FSU Win Over BC Today. Canes Must Beat Virginia Saturday To Advance.

The Round Robin ACC Tournament format has 8 teams divided into two different divisions.

In order for the Miami Hurricanes to win their division the following must happen. Miami needs FSu to beat BC today, and the Canes must beat Viiginia Saturday. Florida State plays Boston College today at noon and both teams have one loss. Florida State lost to Miami already and Boston College lost to Virginia.

The way the tie-breaker rules work for the tournament are as follows:

• The team that won the head to head competition in championship games will advance.

This means if Boston College beats FSU and the Canes beat Virginia, Boston College would advance because they beat the Hurricanes head to head.

So in order to advance the Canes need BC to lose today to FSU, and the Canes must beat Virginia on Saturday. Can't believe were gonna root for the Noles' but its a must needed win for the Canes to continue on.
