Jacory Ranks 6th For Heisman According To Vegas

Oddsmakers in Vegas have released the early odds for the Heisman and our boy Jacory Harris aka J12 is sitting near the top at #6. Mark Ingram is the top favorite again after a ridiculous showing last year and especially after his showing at the end of the season. Terrelle Pryor from Ohio State comes in at number 2, but Jacory may have something to say about that come September when the Canes take on the Buckeyes in Ohio. The tension between the Canes and the Buckeyes is at an all time high since Miami got screwed in Arizona. This year that comes to head on September 11th, and Jacory may have an early chance to show why he should be ranked higher than Pryor.

What is holding back Jacory? We think the Jacory needs to accomplish 3 things this year to put him up front for the Heisman.

1.) He needs more strength and velocity in his passing game, this will increase his effectiveness.

2.) He needs to have more lower leg strength to fend off pull down pressure in the pocket, this will help with scrambling as well.

3.) He needs the Canes to have a very good season, 11 wins minimum.

Here is the the top 26 picks from Vegas Oddmakers.
