We Got Some Canes Over Here......

College football season is coming right around the corner and devoted fans of the "U" are getting ready to do some battle. Randy Shannon just finished his summer camp and all his attention will now be on this year's team (although recruiting is still going on heavily).

The Canes get ready to take on the Buckeyes and The Seminoles in the first 6 weeks of the season. The showdown with the Buckeyes takes place on September 11th in Ohio and will certainly be a clash of titans. The Canes have bad blood for the Buckeyes after the National Championship fiasco nearly a decade ago.

Florida State rolls into town October 9th and the Canes are looking to put a beat-down on our in-state rival here in the MIA. The Seminoles ended up winning the ACC baseball championship this year which is leaving a bad taste in the mouths Hurricanes faithful. The Seminoles also moved onto the College World Series while the Canes were left home to watch. This will certainly fuel the fire a little more when they play at Sun Life Stadium in October. The Canes want to make sure the Noles know who is the best sports school in the State, and we think that is the U.
