The Miami Hurricanes absolutely crushed Texas A&M yesterday 14-1 in an absolute power display. Scott Lawson went deep 3 times and put up 6 RBI's for the day. Scott Lawson hit 5 home-runs all year, and in the past 2 games he has 4. Great Job Scott it was an incredible day for Lawson. Harold Martinez also went deep for the Canes along with Stephen Perez and Chris Pelaez. Chris Hernandez allowed no runs striking out 7 of 23, and went on a 9 consecutive batter out streak.
Today the Canes play the winner of Dartmouth vs Texas A&M which plays on ESPN U at noon. The Canes play the winner directly after the noon game at 4pm giving the Canes a great chance to win as the team facing the Canes will have to play back-to-back games in 100 degree heat. Even better, the losers bracket team must beat the Miami Hurricanes twice in order to win the regionals. The last game if necessary would be set for Monday afternoon.
The Canes have already beat Dartmouth and Texas A&M in this regional so we should be in good shape to beat them again whomever it may be. Game-time is set for 4pm today.
